I was able to finish up reviewing each weeks results over the Holiday weekend to be sure there were no errors.

 Congrats to "33" for the Season Win in a close battle right up to Phoenix.

 

Also Congrats to Pats Hater for the Free Entry for the 2021 ACRL Pool

I will start processing payments the way you paid me unless I have received an email with different instructions.

Anyone that paid Richard Hallinan, Ray Bisson or Bob Cochran will get their winnings directly from them.  

If you paid via Paypal or Venmo your funds will be sent that way.

If you mailed me a check or paid me directly you will get your funds that way.

To the few of you that instructed me to keep out next years Entry fee I will do that.

To the few that instructed me to keep a tip I greatly appreciate it as I make nothing for my work.

Phoenix 2020 Season Finale 500 11-8-20

"33" takes the Season points!! This was a close battle with a tie going into Phoenix.  

The top 4 were just 44 points apart with 5th not far behind!!

Congrats to Animal Whisper for Finishing the Season like Chase Elliot with Back to Back Weekly wins at Martinsville and Phoenix!

I will be traveling to Phoenix today for the week, Yes I almost changed my flight out to Saturday so I could go to the Race.  I will review all results next week and Start the Payout process.

Any Payouts will be paid the same way I received your payment unless you tell me otherwise by Nov 20th.

Options are:   Inperson   Mail  Venmo or Paypal

Any Winners will have the option to have next years Pool $ subtracted from your payout.

I watched the race last night and then went to bed only to wake up and find Jimmie Johnson had been DQ'd for failing post race inspection which made a huge change in the results.

Congrats on the huge week for Quilters1 with a score of 280 for the weekly win and a 48 spot jump in the points!

UncleBubba437 is still our points leaded while several teams got shuffled in and out of the top 10.

Alsco 500 at Charlotte on Wednesday the 27th at 8pm on FS1.  While yesterdays race was 600 miles and 400 laps this will be 500k (310.6 miles) and 205 laps

Welcome back after 71 days with no racing!  We still have 5 more races to go in the Month of May with racing 2 times a week.

Congrats to Team T-Bone with the Weekly Win!!

Lots of movement again this week in the points but "33" is still the points leader.

Next up is the Toyota 500 (kilometers) on Wednesday night at 7:30 again at Darlington.

A couple of things to note:

We pick car #s so if you had Kyle Larson you still get points for Matt Kenseth in the 42

The 52 car owned by Rick Ware has switched to the 27 car.

NASCAR planning to Resume Racing

I hope this finds you all well during these Crazy Times. As most of you know I am an Accountant so while on one hand this Pandemic has changed Tax Season for me it has also created a crazy work load helping all my Small Business clients secure SBA funding to keep themselves afloat thru this mess.  I am sure you all are faced with different situations and hopefully it hasn't totally disrupted your lives.

It looks like NASCAR will have the Cup Series back in action soon.

Since they will be racing 2 times a week please be patient with me on posting Results, at some point in late May/early June my Son and I are headed off for an Allagash Adventure for 4 days or so and I wont have Internet, otherwise I should be able to have results posted within 48 hours of the Races.

If all goes according to plan, the NASCAR Cup Series will resume its 2020 season on May 17 at Darlington Raceway, contesting a new look makeshift schedule primarily in the southeast amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Due to the pandemic, and the a limited number of states close to the race shops in Charlotte, North Carolina with loosened restrictions, the first six races back will take place in the Carolinas and Virginias without fans in attendance.
Autoweek obtained a copy of this schedule disseminated to teams this week.

• Wednesday May 20 | Darlington 310
• Sunday May 24 | Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte
• Wednesday May 27 | Charlotte 310
• Sunday May 31 | Martinsville

It was also important for NASCAR to contest four consecutive races with the 550 HP, high downforce package, since teams had a surplus of these cars prepared for races at Atlanta, Homestead and Texas prior to the shutdown.
It remains unclear where the Xfinity Series and Gander Truck Series fits into the current plans.

What a Crazy Race!  Very Glad to see the post today that Ryan Newman is up and around with his family after that Horrific Wreck on Monday!

Congrats to our 1st weekly winner of the year, Clark Kent!!

I have updated the Entry list after a few errors were found and gone thru the Results spreadsheet to verify the calculations are correct.  I will review it again tonight or tomorrow in case there were still some issues I didn't catch.

Again, all scoring is per NASCAR results

Any Driver not declared for Cup Series but is driving a car that is part of our league I calculate what the points would have been for that car #.

If you have the 6 car you will be scored for whomever drives it.  Unfortunately we all take the risk our driver will miss races.

Payouts will be posted with the Las Vegas Results

We have 105 entries but the mail hadn't arrived yesterday before I left for CT and if I get them Tuesday and they are postmarked by the 15th they will be added into the List.

 

This weeks results probably wont be posted until Wednesday but after Daytona they will be posted and emailed ASAP after that weeks race.

If you haven't gotten it in the mail yet feel free to email me you pics and let me know if the check is in the mail or if you are making payment thru Paypal or Venmo.  I will be OK receiving the check by middle of next week.

2020 ACRL Entry Form

 In 2 weeks the 2020 NASCAR Season will start at Daytona!!  

Join us for another season of the ACRL.  

The Rules are:

•  Choose a CAR NUMBER from each block for a total of NINE cars. You are picking the CAR NUMBER, NOT THE DRIVER. If there is a substitute driver you are still scored by the car number.
•   All NINE finishers are scored each week.
•  Only regular race events will be scored.
• The point system will be according to NASCAR’s official results at the end of each race.
• Season Payouts will be calculated and posted after All Entries are in.
• The team that scores the most points for each race will be awarded $10 as the Champion of the Week.  
• Any teams that are tied for an award will split the award equally
• There will be NO Driver Changes allowed this Season.
• Entry must be received by 2:30 on Feb 15^th!
• $40 Entry.  Payment can be made via Paypal to paypal.me/acrl2019 or Venmo at @DanaABlackstone
•  team entry can be turned in to Dana Blackstone 841-6773 OR Richard Hallinan, 308-9701  with your $40 entry fee. If mailing your team entry, send to Dana Blackstone 551 Wilson Pond Rd, North Monmouth, ME 04265.
• How you pay for your entry is the same way you will be paid any winnings!
