ACRL 2019 Final Results and Payouts

First off please accept my apologies for not getting this out sooner; between work, Thanksgiving, Trip away with my wife and a Septic line problem I have been delayed on getting these out and perhaps I am more bothered by that then any of you.  There is a lot behind the scenes in running the League and hopefully you were all happy with how the season played out.  I am open to any and all suggestions and thoughts to make it better for 2020.  I hope we can grow the League in members so we can go deeper and possibly bigger in the payouts.

I was asked if people could leave there winnings or part of their winnings as credit for 2020 so I will allow that if anyone would like to.  All payouts will be made to the winners the way I received the entry fee from them unless requested otherwise.

Please email me directly if you want to use winnings/part of winnings as credit for 2020.  All payouts will be paid out by Wednesday the 4th of December.

Please note we had a tie for 20th place and per the Rules on Entry form that is split.

Look for the 2020 ACRL Entry forms in Mid January.

Official Race Results from NASCAR

 

 

Thanks for your patience as I was traveling over the weekend.

These are the unofficial Results.  I triple check each week before posting but I am also going back thru each weeks results to verify that there were no mistakes.  I am 2/3rds of the way thru checking them and have not found any mistakes yet.  I don't expect to find any but just want to make sure the I have the top 20 correct for payouts.  I should finish it up by this weekend.

Congrats to Good Juju on the weekly win at Homestead!! 

Also note that NASCAR does not award stage points for the 4 Championship Drivers in the final race of the season.

We had a swap in position again for first place, Clark Kent has regained the lead for now.

Another Great Bristol Race!!,  Matt D got close enough to Victory he could taste it. So many emotions for him in his interview and then the first thing Denny says in his on Track interview was I feel bad for Matt D and his team that I had to pass him to get the win.

 Congratulations to New League Member Steve Hodge with Team Bump 'n' Run on his victory at Martinsville. With the win he moved up 29 spots from last week!

I haven't received anything that the updated entry list with all of the changes is missing anything or incorrect so hopefully we are all good there.  This is my busiest time of year with work so I did the initial update with the changes after already sitting at the computer for 5 hours yesterday. 

I appreciate all of the comments of good work with the League so far this year, Thanks to the efforts from the guys that ran it before me it was actually a very easy transition.  I will always try to make the updates the night after the race or in the case of night races the next morning but sometimes it may be a little later due to traveling.

It is important to note that I discovered that 7 teams that picked the 52 car did not get scored points for the Las Vegas.  He scored 1 point for that race not 0,  I adjusted each of those teams by 1 point before adding in the result for California so they now have the correct point total.

I have received several changes in Drivers already

Please email them to me with the Title Driver Changes so I will be sure not to miss them in my inbox.

Again, you can change 2 of your cars effective for the Martinsville Race.  You can change it to another car in the same group.  Once any changes have been made your team is locked in for the remainder of the year.  

I would prefer all changes to be emailed to me.   

The cut off for changes will be Saturday, March 23 at 2:00pm which is the start time for the Gander Outdoors Truck Series Race.

Congrats to Team What a Deal with the win for the week at Atlanta with a score of 253!!

With that win came a big move up of 78 places to 13th.

It was a big week of movement after the crazy race at Daytona, Points for the top 20 are pretty close but we still have 34 races ahead of us so anything can happen.

This week you will see the color changes for names

Green means you moved up in the overall standings

Blue means you stayed in the same spot as the previous week

Red means you went down in the overall standings.

Again we use NASCAR's official points for the race which include the stage points.

If you have a car # that isn't eligible for points in the Monster Energy Series you receive the points the car would have gotten. EX: 15 car scored 0 but would have received 6 so got scored 6 for ACRL.

Congrats to Hawaii 5-0 on surviving all the typical late race wrecks at Daytona to prevail as the 1st weekly winner of 2019 ACRL!

Weekly Winners will be tracked on the results sheet and Payouts For Final season points are listed on the sheet for the top 20 plus we were able to add in a special award. 

Everyone picks their team hoping to win but someone has to be last place for total season points.  This year the last place finisher will receive Free Entry into the 2020 ACRL!!  This is noted on the results sheet as FE20

 Just to clarify a couple of questions I had from a couple people today.

Many people use ESPN results to add up their points after the races.  ACRL strictly uses the results posted by NASCAR.

NASCAR did award points for the duels last Thursday but didn't show those points on the results for the 500 but as points for a separate race.  Some websites such as ESPN did include those in the 500 results but NASCAR did not so they are not included in the results for the ACRL.  I apologize for any confusion on that.

Some drivers aren't eligible for points in the cup series.  Ex: Ross Chastin is not running for points in the cup series so he is listed on NASCAR Results for 0 but for our series he is awarded the points he would have received. Again ACRL is the car # so regardless who is driving it you will get scored points for the car #.

Speedweek has started and we have entries coming in daily along with several new entries!  Again all entries need to be in by 2:30 Saturday the 16th. I know a lot of you wait till Speedweek to follow any announcements.

The biggest rumor of the day is the 97 of Tanner Berryhill will not be at Daytona, I have only seen his twitter post and he is not on the entry list.  At this point no one has picked him.

As you have probably seen in the email from Rich C., I have taken over the Management of the League from him after his 5 successful years of running it and I look forward to it.  I have been in the League for the past 4 or 5 years and am happy to continue where he left off.

Things will continue as before but also a few minor changes.  We have put together what should be a challenging group of Blocks this year and this years rookie field allowed us to put them in a Block of their own.  I will continue emailing a PDF of the results each week but also I have a blog page started where I will also post the weekly results as well as all the previous weeks.  You can choose to submit your email if you like to get a notification of any new posts to the blog.  I am part of other pools that use this format and it works great.

Entry forms can be handed in to myself as well as Rich H and Bob C., They will get them in to me with the payment. You can also email or text me a pic of your filled out entry sheet and I am also giving you the option to send me the funds vial Paypal to friend (to avoid the paypal fee) or Venmo.  It will also be an option to receive any prize money that way at the end of the season.

The Rules outlined on the entry form are simple and basically the same as last Season.

Block 7 cars 51, 52 and 77 still have drivers up in the air. The 77 Spire Motorsports car will be running as the 40 car in select races due to sponsorship but will always be scored as the 77 in those races for the ACRL.

Welcome to the Home of the ACRL!  We are looking forward to an exciting year following Nascar!

Hats off to Rich for his hard work!  I am sure you all understand the amount of time it takes to put this together for us all to have fun watching Nascar and being able to compete with each other for the weekly and final prizes.

As a long time member of this League I look forward to picking up where Rich has left off after 5 years running it.

Hello Racers, 

Happy New Year and welcome to a new year for ACRL. No doubt that the off season developments will make your team selection a bit more interesting.

That said, I would like to announce that the 2019 ACRL will have a new manager.  Long standing veteran Team Pebbles has stepped up to carry on the legacy. I have no worries that the fun and glory will carry on!

It has been my extreme pleasure to entertain and serve your teams for the past 5 years. Of course, I will do everything possible to help Team Pebbles carry on the tradition. By the way and as you can imagine, I expect to continue to enter an ACRL team.
